Yeni PostgreSQL sürümleri duyuruldu.

Bugün PostgreSQL'in 8.3.6, 8.2.12, 8.1.16, 8.0.20 ve 7.4.24 sürümleri duyuruldu. 8.1 sürümü için autovacuum çökmelerini düzelten ve 8.3 için GiST indexlemelerinde veri kaybını önleyen yamalar içeren bu sürümlere en kısa zamanda geçilmesi öneriliyor.

Bu güncellemeler aynı zamanda birçok düşük riskli güvenlik sorunlarını ve 17 küçük hata düzeltmelerini içeriyor.

Kullanıcıların diğer tüm ara sürümler gibi bu ara sürüm güncellemeleri uygulamaları için dump/reload etmelerine gerek yok.

4 Şubat'dan önce PostgreSQL 8.3.6'nın kaynak kodunu ya da 8.3.6-1 Windows sürümünü indirdiyseniz, kullandığınız sürüm güvenlik riski içeren bir sürümdür. Lütfen yeni sürümleri (windows için 8.3.6-2) indiriniz.
