Nagios ve NRPE

Tükkana geri dönünce hemen eskiden yaptıklarımın durumlarını incelemeye başladım. Sanırım 2-3 ay kadar önceydi: PostgreSQL.org'un tüm sunucularının tüm servislerinin ve de günlük oluşturulan dosyaların kontrolüne kadar uzayan Nagios yapılandırmasını görünce hayıflanmıştım. Şimdi azıcık da boş vakit olunca bizim Nagios'u geliştireyim dedim. NRPE'yi kullanmamıştım daha önce; ona da el attım.

Bugüne kadar kullanmamakla iyi birşey yapmamışım. Ailenin tembeli olaraktan öncelikle kurulum ve yapılandırma belgesini yazdım -- sonra her kullanımda oradan kopyala - yapıştır teknolojisini kullanarak kurulumları gerçekleştirdim. Öneririm NRPE'yi, sevimli bir alet.

Bu arada kaynamasın arada... Evet artık boş vaktim var. Eskiden PostgreSQL ile ilgili şeyleri takip edebilmek için geceleri online olurdum... Şimdi mesai bitiyor; bu işler de bitiyor :-) Bünye bunu kaldıramadığı için 22:30-23:00 sularında yatağa gidiyorum. Sabah 8'e doğru da kalkıyorum. Oh mis.
