Aynı Cuma'da bir dert daha

Az önce yazdım; bugün kara bir gündü diye... Ama tek olay o değildi.

Oğlum beni arayıp "Baba, oyuncak araba götür"  (jetonla çalışan ve araba, atlı karınca vs olan yerlerden bahsediyor :-) ) deyince ve ben de replikasyon derdinden fazlası ile bunalınca kendimi dışarı attım. 16'ya kadar dışarıda kalıp kendime gelme ve oğlumla laflama şansımı değerlendirecektim. Plan başta iyiydi. Ancak sonra bir telefon geldi: "Devrim, sunucuda yine e-posta birikmeye başladı"


Bu benim tez zamanda eve dönmem demekti; zira edge bağlantısı ile çözülebilecek bir dert değildi. Sunucuda Postfix+Amavisd+ClamAV+SpamAssassin (Altın Kızlar) çalışıyor. Bu tıkanma daha önce de olmuş; amavis'in performansını arttırarak çözmeye çalışmıştım ve gerçekten de bir süre düzgün ilerlemişti. Sorun tekrarlayınca bir büyüğümüzün sözü geldi aklıma: "Linux log tutan bir işletim sistemidir".


Güzel. Açtım amavis loglarını 2.seviyeden. Şu anda elimde yok ama harika loglar gelmeye başladı. Amavis'den e-postaların neden geç çıktığını gördüm: SpamAssassin yetişemiyordu. Peki neden?


RHCE olmanın faydaları :-P Önce /etc/sysconfig/spamassassin altına baktım. Bingo! -m5 ile çalışıyormuş SpamAssassin. Hemen bunu ilk anda 30 yaptım ve... Bir bingo daha!  2500 mail 2 dakikadan kısa sürede eridi.


Sorun tekrarlarsa bunu 50 yapacağım -- çalışsın Opteron 850'ler.
